Youthful Killer Receives Life Punishment with Lowest 16-Year Term
A fifteen-year-old youth has been punished to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 16-year period for the killing of fellow pupil the deceased during a lunch period.

The defendant pierced Harvey, who was also fifteen, through the heart with a weapon at the city's All Saints Catholic High School in the winter month.
The judge lifted the identity protection limitation on the defendant during the judgment at the courthouse.
Family Statement
Harvey's mother said she felt "as if a large load has been removed off my person" following the sentencing.
Both youths had beforehand disputed over online platforms in the time prior to the fatal encounter.
The mother mentioned she was pleased the minimum term had been set exceeding the legal minimum of 15 years.
"My parent has been having cancer treatment through the legal process and he just couldn't hold on any longer," she expressed.
Circumstances of the Assault
Prior to the homicide on February 3rd, the perpetrator and the victim had taken opposite viewpoints in a unrelated conflict between other pupils.
CCTV from the occasion of the knife attack showed the killer coming near Harvey in the school yard shortly after midday.
Bystanders recounted a scene of "confusion", with people "running, screaming everywhere" during the brutal incident.
Legal Process
In the trial, the defendant claimed he had not meant to cause death to Harvey or cause him significant damage, claiming he could not recall what had happened.
The state argued that he had "desired to prove he was formidable" and "understood exactly what he was carrying out".
"You were the instigator and... you proceeded in pain and anger at what you considered to be his treachery of your relationship," stated the court official during the punishment phase.
Fallout
All Saints Catholic High School released a statement stating that the student was "deeply remembered every day by the complete learning environment".
Police officials stressed the devastating results of possessing knives, observing that a "momentary decision" can irreversibly transform numerous lives.
